A lot of protein bars and balls at the moment tend to be made predominantly out
of dates, or contain oats. I don't have an issue with this at all, but I wanted
to see if I could create a bar/ ball without using either. The result was
pretty good I think!
I've called these coco-choco bites, I'm open to new name suggestions - just leave them in the comments below!

Ingredients
(these are a little rough!)
1/2
cup of nuts (I used almonds, cashews and Brazil nuts)
1/2
cup desiccated coconut
3
tsp coconut oil (melted)
1/4
cup chocolate protein powder
A
squeeze of honey/ other liquid sweetener (to taste)
A
splash of coconut water (if needed)
Directions
Put
the nuts into a food processor and process into powder
Mix
all the ingredients in a big bowl
Put
into a lined baking tray, sprinkle a few crushed hazelnuts on top if you're
feeling fancy and pop into the freezer until set
Slice
up and enjoy!
I
keep mine in the freezer as this kind of deters me from eating them quite as
quickly, plus they stay nice and firm. Let me know what you think and please
tag me on Instagram @swift_eats if you recreate the recipe!
