Nomad, Marrakech

As soon as I walked into Nomad I felt at home – literally can I move in? The decor is my absolute dream – bevelled tiles, chevron, stripes, more tiles, all in monochrome and neutral shades. The tables were probably the most instagrammable thing I'd ever seen! Nomad feels more like a home than a restaurant, in that it's set across three floors – we chose the top, with incredible panoramic views over the Medina.

The menu consists of Moroccan classics but also a bunch of more Western dishes – the vast majority of which are vegetarian and vegan. We both went for seabass, which was cooked beautifully and served with a small green salad. It was so light and refreshing, making for a welcome change from the heavier tagines we'd been enjoying. We also opted for some green beans tossed in olive oil, lemon and flaked almonds on the side.

You can find Nomad here – it's definitely one to check out if you're in Marrakech and fancy a bit of comfort!
