We had a selection of amazing pots, which included all of our favourites. Crunchy green salad topped with walnuts and avocado, rosemary focaccia, raw veg sticks, houmous, fresh berries and chocolate brownies.
The absolute winner had to be the tuna and rice pot – it was incredible – juicy tuna steak cooked rare with black and wholegrain rice, avocado and a really light but zesty dressing. We also loved the houmous, which came with a selection of raw veg sticks for dipping (we may have bought some sneaky crisps for extra dipping…) The chocolate brownie was also to die for (guys, please can I have the recipe?!).
We got £50 worth of food, we were concerned it wasn’t going to be enough (we had two hungry boys with us!) but we all ate loads and had heaps left over. So if you’re looking for a fuss free picnic this weekend or even just a nutritious desk lunch, head over to potage.
