Hot Cross Bun Bowl

Hot cross bun smoothie bowl? I know, I know, it's rogue. But it's Easter, and I'm Bali and there's not a hot cross bun or Easter egg in sight (I'm not complaining I promise). Whilst I may have bullied D into freezing some buns ready for my return, I'm not about to wait 2 months for my fix. Smoothie bowls are a daily occurrence here, so combining the two seemed like a plan. Go on, give it a go in between the mini eggs and Lindtt bunnies. 

Ingredients (makes 2)
4 frozen bananas
300 ml almond milk
4 tbsp coconut cream
1 tsp fresh ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1 scoop vanilla protein (optional)

1 orange + zest
1 banana
2 tbsp coconut cream or coconut yoghurt
whatever you fancy

Blend all of your ingredients until it reaches the desired consistency. You might want to add everything a bit at a time depending on your blender. Top with granola (or a really unhealthy looking Balinese cereal bar), orange + zest, choppped banana and yoghurt of choice.
