Uluwatu Food Guide

Bali is growing and expanding so rapidly and Uluwatu is no different. There's new places opening up every week and I'm spoilt for choice! I've tried a ton of different places, some good, some bad, but here are my favourites.

Napolina + salsiccia at La Baracca

I hate to be one of those people who goes to a country with amazing, delicious and traditional food and wants to eat pizza. But I love pizza, and La Baracca does it so well. In fact everything on the menu is great. Plus it is so cute inside and the staff are great. It's the perfect date night spot.

Finding good coffee in Bali can be a struggle, but the coffee at Suka is the best I've found in Ulus, and they do amazing breakfast + brunch too. If you want big american style pancakes and cheap smoothie bowls, go to Corner CafeDrifter is another great breakfast and brunch spot (the sourdough is vvvvvv good), they also have great cold press juices and it's a nice space to hang out with a laptop. Nalu Bowls does the best smoothie bowls around. If you're interested, I ranked each bowl on the menu from best to worst because I'm really, really extra, you can find that info here.

Long black at Suka

Full English at Suka

Fruit and muesli bowl at Suka

Green smoothie bowl at Corner Cafe

Eggs on toast + berry bowl at Drifter

Sushi Ulu Wasabi does really good sushi, all made fresh to order. Coco & Poke at Single Fin has incredible views and does really good poke, as well as VEGAN COCONUT SOFT SERVE.

Poke bowls at Coco + Poke

I love Indonesian food, everywhere does it so well (duh), but the places I always go back to are Ulu Resto, Jaya, Summer Waroeng and Lima Cafe. So good and so much more affordable than all the Western style joints above!

Nasi goreng + fruit salad at Jaya
